Metallurgy

Three metallurgical tests have been completed on the Imwelo ore. One test was on fresh ore, one on weathered ore and the third on a composite sample. These returned recoveries of 90%, 88%, and 91% respectively. Approximately half of the gold product is liberated from the gravity circuit, the other half from the CIL circuit. The processing plant has been designed based on these metallurgical tests. Discussions have been underway with a plant manufacturer for the Imwelo facility.

Once the final funding is in place the processing facility will be ordered. This will take 10 months to manufacture, relocate, build and commission.
